A Manufacturer's Rep for industrial air filtration systems
Isolation Air Systems was established in 1992 to respond to the engineering challenges presented by the resurgence of tuberculosis. To comply with the Centers for Disease Controlís engineering guidelines, health care and correctional facilities were required to implement negative pressure isolation rooms and ventilation rates using single-pass outdoor air and HEPA grade filtration of exhaust, all while protecting healthcare and maintenance personnel from exposure to the virulent pathogen. IAS responded with the development of dedicated HVAC systems that controlled room differential pressure, conditioned outdoor air, filtered exhaust air, and transferred energy between the supply and exhaust air streams to reduce energy consumption.
IAS later applied differential pressure control to biofilter blower systems, maintaining a constant air volume through the biofilter media as pressure drop through the bed varied due to compaction and environmental conditions.
Today, IAS designs and manufactures systems for these primary markets, as well as air filter intakes and silencers for machinery air intake systems and specialized compressor oil reservoir vent systems.
